I don't know what has changed or if it has but this past six months using the Classic Shampoo I have found it seems "cheaper". It doesn't lather very well, requires more shampoo. Not very happy with this product. When I color my hair I have to use another shampoo in addition to the sample of the classic.

Not sure if this conditioner works because as soon as I put it in my hair I washed it out because it stinks kind of like an old pharmacy... dusty smell... ewww... immediately washed my hair again and used my regular conditioner.

Not good for my hair, globs of it came out when the girl washed my hair. This shampoo dried my hair out after coloring. I asked the girl to put in a moisturizing one and she put some leave in conditioner. I wish they would put the right shampoo in my color packet I get. I always throw these out

The shampoo is very nice but no different from any drugstore shampoo that I have tried and it’s a lot more expensive. I personally feel because we also have to pay shipping fees the cost of the shampoo and conditioners should be less.

I do like this shampoo but my bottle had leaked about a third of the product into the mailing container and at the price point .... that really hurt. The lid wasn’t on well so it leaked out. I lost product and my box was a mess. Please be more careful when packaging your products.

It lacks suds, so i probably used more than necessary. It has a "thin" feel, and doesnt integrate with my hair---sort of falls out of my hair. The fragrance is mild and pleasant but I wont reorder.

This formula doesn’t seem as condensed
Or as effective as the one you get with your color kit. The color kit one leaves my hair super soft and no frizz. This one didn’t do that at all. It is shiny and smells wonderful but not super impressed.

Same here, after hubby dies my hair, it takes a lot of shampoo to wash my hair and get rid of the excess color. I get about 5 - 6 uses with each bottle, which makes it rather expensive. The quality is good, it just does not foam unless I use more than I usually would use.

The Love Unconditionally conditioner was WONDERFUL. Although you say this formula was previously the Love Unconditionally conditioner, I had my doubts as soon as I started using it. It feels different, smells different, and, most importantly of all, it works much less well!!
I found a hidden container of the Love Unconditionally conditioner in my cabinet and used it today. It was absolutely clear that it wasn't the same formula. It was the conditioner that I missed!!! This was confirmed when I compared the ingredients, which are NOT the same between the two versions of the conditioner.
Explain to your customers why: (1) you changed the formula; (2) you persist in deceiving your customers by suggesting that this conditioner was "previously" "Love Unconditionally." It just isn't so!

Honestly, as much as I love the E-Salon coloring, I cannot endorse the shampoo or conditioner. I really liked the samples in the kit but the full size(s) are disappointing. Plus, they look identical in the shower! I have to put them in separate spots because I can't see which is WHICH! I will go back to the beauty supply store and try again.

I bought this shampoo because I love the single use packet that comes in my at home color treatment. the large size does not have any scent and it does not lather. I bought the large size because I was going away with my sisters and I wanted them to try this product. This large size is not the same product. Neither is the conditioner. I was very disappointed. I won't buy either of them again.

I thought the packet of shampoo you get with the color kit was hard to lather because of the chemical you are washing out from just coloring and I liked the smell, so I ordered it hoping my color would last longer. I am very disappointed. I continually have to use more for my hair to feel clean and didn’t see a difference. I’m definitely going back to my regular color-safe shampoo. For me, this was not worth the money at all.

I decided to try this since the price is lower than the shampoo I buy in a salon. This shampoo doesn't control my frizziness - even with extra product in it and using a flat iron. The other thing I noticed (this is just personal preference), my hair looked greasy the next day. With the shampoo from the salon I wouldn't have to start using dry shampoo until day two or three and then could use dry shampoo for a couple days before I needed to wash it again. I would need to wash my hair every day with this shampoo.

I purchased this hoping to have a better sulfate Free shampoo but this is no better than the rest. It leaves my hair a tangly mess and greasy the next day. I also have to use a lot of conditioner just to de-tangle the mess in the shower. I almost finished my first bottle hoping it would get better and purchased another because I didn’t know what else to use. I’m done with this shampoo and the conditioner that goes with it. Won’t purchase either again.

I'm so glad to see from the other reviews that I'm not the only one dumbfounded by your redesign. Your products now look like I would find them in a no-tell motel bathroom ... generic and outdated. The bottle color is reminiscent of the pink anti-itch product I put on mosquito bites as a kid (not a pleasant memory, and one from the 1970s!). The loss of the pump top is a bummer, too. All this redesign looks like is an effort to cut costs. I know you say the product itself hasn't changed, and I hope that's true, because if it did get cheaper along with your redesign, I won't be a member for much longer.

With the new products, my hair feels like straw. I have to throw these away. I tried 4x and my hair is now so unmanageable, compared to the previous formulation. The company says that nothing has changed but the packaging.....NOT TRUE.

Although this is the same product as the “Love” conditioner, the new bottle is not as eye appealing. It is bland in comparison.

I have basically stopped using this shampoo because my hair doesn't "feel" light and clean after one or sometimes even two washes. It smells really good, though! It's probably my hair type that prevents me from loving it.

I have to use big amount to blend in my hair although my hair is thin and Short i shower every other day comparing to the bottle size I would finish it in less then 2 weeks

I have fairly long thick hair, and while this conditioner smells great and held the color well, it left my hair pretty dry, even when followed up with a leave in conditioner. Even when I let it soak in my hair for 10-15 minutes before rinsing I was unsatisfied with the hydration and texture of my hair while using the conditioner.

The shampoo consistency is too thin and I needed to pump 6-8 times to get enough lather to clean my hair. I tried adding more water to my hair to help spread it out, but it's already too thin anyway that the product could not distribute it any further. It does not feel like this shampoo cleans my hair as well either. I have to wash my hair more often now. The smell is pleasant and I wanted to like it, but I will not be purchasing it again.

I’m not overly impressed if I’m honest. I split my hair into 2 sections and use 2 pumps per section I applied to one side with 2 pumps and I didn’t even get to the end of my hair until it seemed to just vanish. Smell not great either

I purchase two bottles of the shampoo. I only had used it after coloring. It does lather. Not sure it is cleaning all of my hair. I definitely like the ways the Body shampoo leaves my hair. Love doesn't leave my hair with the same effect.

In order for my hair to feel clean, I have to shampoo twice. I have not had to shampoo twice since I was a teenager and had oily hair. I am not sure if this is how you intended it to work, but since I am not used to shampooing twice, it seems an inconvenience. Even after the second shampoo, my hair just doesnt feel like I'm used to it feeling when it is clean. I'll continue to use it as it makes my hair feel soft, but with the conditioner, my hair is very flat. I do like the Volume shampoo/condition.

I always use the packet of this conditioner after I rinse out my color and my hair always looked great so I was incredibly disappointed that after purchasing 2 bottles (I thought it would just take a little more time so I ordered another bottle) I now realize this conditioner just doesn't work on my hair. Leaves it tangled and frizzy with a greasy scalp. I love esalon products so hoping I can find one of their conditioners that works for me.

I went ahead and spent the extra money and bought the shampoo and conditioner... It's just another full bottle that I wouldn't really use. It's a little bit expensive for what you get. Maybe I'm just spoiled.

My review is for the volumizimg product but am writing the review here because this is what I had purchased. Went to eSalon to have my hair done, which was a great experience, and purchased the shampoo and conditioner there. Didn’t notice I had gotten volumizimg conditioner instead of the color care conditioner. I decided to keep it and use it then order the other conditioner. Not until I received my second conditioner did I realize the volumizimg conditioner was actually making my hair flat and limp. Not a product that worked for me at all

Not sure about this condioner yet. I don’t like the way my hair felt. It wasn’t as smooth as I thought it should be? Because of that I did not blow dry my hair but applied additional protective products. I will have to continue using and review again.

This shampoo smells great and does leave my hair clean. However, the wave and curl I have fall out immediately. My normally wavy and curly hair is left limp and almost completely straight. This may be an excellent shampoo and conditioner for someone else.

The tiny shampoo packets sent with my hair color orders does not behave in the same manner as the $15 version in the bottle. The shampoo dried my hair until it was brittle. I will not use it again!

The bottle is faulty. shampoo does does dispense properly (the pump mechanism does not work). For this price I expect a pump that works.

I can’t use this shampoo on a regular basis. It smells amazing, but it caused my hair to remain greasy. Once or twice within the month, I was able to use it minimally to restore moisture. If I applied too much, my hair was greasy instantly. I was disappointed.
