Better Than Salon ColorI just colored my hair myself for the first time in many years. My hair has always been colored at a salon. I have lots of gray and my hair was previously colored with addt’l highlights. I was pretty worried about everything turning out correctly without looking like a speckled pup! I am ecstatic to report that my hair did beautifully! If we ever get out of social distancing, I will only visit my salon for haircuts. By the way, I will be 70 in 2 months. MarvelousI love my first box. The color is wonderful. My colorist recommended a different shade from my description and photo. They also sent an ends refresher to ensure proper shading, for free. It was perfect. The color covered grey beautifully and shows as a light red within the brown. My Mom was surprised to see my natural brown with red highlights returned. She is now looking into the product. It is just what I have wanted from salon but couldn't afford $200+ color session to get all over color with highlights. Perfect Formula for Resistant Gray!!!!Please thank Stefanie for me! The formula was spot on! My technique is not very good, I got it all over my neck and ears (ha!ha!) But with my 8 year daughters assistance I was able to apply it pretty evenly using the YouTube videos that are provided. Everyone will notice, but No one will know.As a guy, your service saves me time, AND the awkwardness of looking through a Beauty Supply shop. Most of all, the Customized Color is priceless: I've used colors in the past, mostly SEMI-Permanent knowing it would fade out in a few weeks. I was a bit nervous going Permanent. Thinking about "How do I get this out if the color's off!?" & "Maybe I can find a color that looks like my natural color, dye it back, & leave it alone." Just before my shower: I mixed my coloring (mixing bowl & brush), apply some on a comb & run it through my beard. Then I combed the rest through my hair & find a funny show for a half hour. Time to rinse out: I hop in the shower with the leftovers in the mixing bowl. Turn on the water, make a lather, & message through my scalp. Anxious to see the new me, I avoided the mirror until the end. I walked towards the sink, looked up, & saw someone that could pass for my Irish cousin. In awe, i stared at the mirror in amazement of how natural my new color looked, yet SO different. No stranger in town would have a clue it was colored. Although your instructions warn against coloring the eyebrows, I did anyway. (why have a copper tone with blond eye brows?) They too came out GREAT! Finally, I have a natural alternative color. Some bright green color contacts, I'll be all set for a new Identity. Thank you Celine for such a great color creation.
