New Color Mixture with HighlightsColor is fantastic. As far as the highlights, when mixing the activator with the highlight powder, while it did get creamy, it was not creamy enough. Best hair dye I've ever used!I used to dye my hair myself with standard black box dye from the supermarkets. It always looked patchy and just never made my hair feel that great, but I couldn't really afford to go to a hair salon. I saved up some money and eventually did go to a professional, since I wanted to go a tad lighter with my hair colour. Although the results were okay, I just didn't feel like it was worth the money I was spending. After reading reviews of this hair dye - I decided to go for it! The colour is perfect, exactly what I wanted, a rich chocolate brown. My hair feels super soft and looks so healthy. Color lastsThe color covered all the grey and stayed true for over a month. Other than being a shade darker than I expected, I was happy with it. The only problem I had was it made my hair feel "plastic", like baby doll hair. I had done the color myself at home so that probably affected how it turned out. The kit included everything needed and was easy to understand and use. Overall this is a good product but for now I'm going back to a professional for the color adjustment. I will use this again for root touch up but not overall color since there's no way to tell how it will interact with previous color products. I would definitely recommend this to anyone just starting to color their own hair. It's lasts longer than drug store boxed mixes, you get good directions and everything you need and there's no guesswork about the amounts of color/developer to mix. 0 of 0 people found this review helpful.
