Much easier than going to a salonI tried going to the salon to get my hair done and the process for me is just too time consuming. The last time I went to a salon I also was not so satisfied with the color. Since I started coloring at home I can do it anytime I want and as a busy working mom of 2, I appreciate the flexibility. The products are easy to apply, the instructions are simple to follow and the color is just the best. It is the closest I could get to my original color. Affordable, high-quality hair color!Absolutely loved everything about this coloring kit. I wanted a warm auburn/mahogany color and my stylist was spot-on with their suggestion to go with a lighter shade!!! The kit came with more than enough product (I always ran out of product with drugstore kits) and the included instructions were large print and very easy-to-read. If the price of getting your hair professionally colored makes you throw up in your mouth a little bit (like we could straight up feed a 3rd-world country for 10 years with the price of one general coloring sesh, 15 years with highlights) but want something a little nicer than those slightly-unnerving drugstore kits, BUY THIS KIT!! I honestly notice zero difference with this kit vs. getting professionally-colored (but I will admit I am rather laidback with my hair and do not care for highlighting)... ~ For reference, I previously had a fading auburn color with some serious darker roots (I naturally have medium-dark brown hair w neutral undertones, no gray). Shoulder length with slightly wavy/straight texture.~ On a side note, as a total product design nerd, I give everything about this kit a 10/10 - from the custom labels to the tiny bottles to the instruction sheet to even the box...total cuteness overload!! 1 of 1 people found this review helpful. Coming out redNo back-and-forth communication with the colorist. I provided my initial request and then this was shipped to me without any talking with me, or showing me a photo.
