Great Gray Coverage; Color Too DarkWhen I finally got around to using the hair color I ordered, I was happy with most aspects of using the hair color. It was easy to apply, the directions were clear and most importantly, it covered the gray. The brush that came in the package was very helpful in applying color to the front of my hair where the gray is most prominent and stubborn. I liked getting two pairs of gloves, so I could use one for applying the color and the other for rinsing. The only thing I didn't like was the color is too dark. I tried to make it clear in my profile that I don't want my hair to be dark brown when I get done, but perhaps I didn't do so. I think dark brown (or other dark colors) look harsh and obviously dyed in older women like me. (55, I'm 55 ). My hair is about 1/3 gray, so it should be possible for it not to be so dark. I have used hair color before with a lighter result, so I know it can be done. When I reorder, I would like to get color that isn't quite so dark. 0 of 0 people found this review helpful. Did you? |

Color is great - quantity is notIn the setup eSalon asks how much hair you have. And then ignores that information. The color itself is fantastic and I have recommended it over and over to dozens of my friends. But if you have waist length hair, you should get more color. Period.
