Bottle was leakingHello E Salon I have been a customer for a while and have not had any issues with products until this shipment. AppalledI am absolutely appalled by this dye! My ‘medium ash brown’ dye turned black, I’ve washed my hair 6 times in an attempt to fade it and now it is patchy and has chunks of black and chunks of a reddish brown. Medium brown semi permanent hair dyeI tried a medium brown semi-permanent hair dye from eSalon, and overall it was a really positive experience. What stood out most is that the formula is customised, so the shade feels more natural and tailored compared to typical box dyes. The colour came out rich and glossy, with a soft, multi-dimensional brown rather than a flat tone. Application was straightforward, and the included kit made it feel more like a salon process at home. The formula also felt conditioning—my hair didn’t feel dry afterwards, which is common with some dyes. Semi-permanent colour like this generally coats the hair rather than penetrating deeply, so it fades gradually over a few weeks without harsh regrowth lines . That said, the colour did come out slightly darker than expected at first, which seems to be a common experience with at-home dyes. It softened nicely after a few washes, though. LOVEThe color was perfect, application wasn't complicated. I did have a bottle of color explode all over the room. I would have loved a heads up. DO NOT put the little cap back on the bottles between your test strand and full application. The chemicals cause the bottle to swell and if that cap is on, you will be scraping color off your ceiling with a spatula.
